Shopping Cart — Items placed in your shopping cart are not reserved until you complete checkout and receive an order confirmation email.

Substitutions — Since we are a very small farm, we do not offer substitutions for stock loss. If there should be any stock loss between the time you place your order and when your order ships, you will be notified via email and refunded appropriately.

Dahlia Tuber Shipping — A flat shipping fee of $15 applies to all orders to help cover packaging and postage costs. All orders are shipped via USPS. Tuber shipments will begin March through April, depending on when temperatures in your area are warm enough for safe transit. We currently ship within the United States only.

We also offer local pickup in either Saratoga Springs or Glens Falls. Customers choosing this option are responsible for emailing us their preferred pickup location at bloomsonridgestreet@gmail.com.

If you’d like to combine multiple orders, we’re happy to do so for a $3 labor fee per order. To receive a shipping refund on combined orders, please email bloomsonridgestreet@gmail.com after placing them, and include all of your order numbers. We’re unable to combine orders without an email request.

Lost/Damaged Packages — Once a package has been shipped, we are no longer responsible for the package. If a package arrives late, is lost in transit or arrives damaged, please contact USPS and file a claim.

Order Changes & Cancellations — Once an order is placed, we are unable to add or subtract items. Please place an additional order if there are other items you are looking to purchase. Once an order is placed, we are unable to cancel that order.

Tuber Quality Guarantee — Thank you so much for supporting our small farm. It truly means the world to us. We want you to feel confident and excited about the tubers you receive, and we take great care to ensure they meet our standards. Every tuber we ship is one we’d gladly plant in our own gardens. Each is guaranteed to arrive in good condition, with at least one visible eye, a healthy body, and true to the variety you ordered.

When your tubers arrive, please take a moment to inspect them right away. If anything seems off or you have questions, just reach out—we’re here to help. Email bloomsonridgestreet@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery, and we’ll work with you to make it right. After that time frame, we’re not able to offer refunds or replacements.

A few reassurances:

  • Tuber size doesn’t determine success—small, healthy tubers grow beautifully.

  • Minor marks or skin cracks near the neck are normal and do not mean the neck is broken; we check all tubers carefully to ensure they’re sound before they leave the farm.

After the 48-hour window, care and conditions are out of our hands, and you’ll assume full responsibility for your tubers. Be sure to plant after your area’s last frost date and follow the planting instructions included with your order.

Please understand that we can’t be responsible for issues that arise due to weather, pests, rodents, soil or field conditions, rot, or any other factors outside our control once the tubers are in your care.

Virus Policy — Throughout the growing season, we are extremely diligent about plant health. We promptly remove any plants that show potential signs of virus, practice organic pest management, and sanitize our snips between each plant when harvesting. Even with these careful practices, it’s important to understand that dahlia viruses are widespread, with an estimated 80–90% of dahlias carrying one or more virus strains.

By purchasing tubers, you acknowledge that some level of virus risk is simply part of growing dahlias. Because of this, we are unable to offer refunds for plants that later show signs of virus.
